The Laws Of Money By Brian Tracy

The Laws of Money

By Brian Tracy

One of your major goals in life should be financial independence. You must aim to reach the point where you have enough money so that you never have to worry about money again. The good news is that financial independence is easier to achieve today than it has ever been before.

The Law of Abundance

We live in an abundant universe in which there is sufficient money for all who really want it and are willing to obey the laws governing its acquisition. People become wealthy because they decide to become wealthy. People are poor because they have not yet decided to become rich.

The world is full of thousands of people who have had far more difficulties to overcome than you could ever imagine, and they've gone on to be successful anyway. So can you.

The Law of Exchange

Money is the medium through which people exchange their labor in the production of goods and services for the goods and services of others. The amount of money you earn is the measure of the value that others place on your contribution. To increase the amount of money you are getting out, you must increase the value of the work that you are putting in.

The Law of Capital

Your most valuable assets, in terms of cash flow, are your physical and mental capital—your earning ability. How much time you put in and how much of yourself you put into that time largely determine your earning ability. Time and money can be either spent or invested. If you invest your time or money in becoming more knowledgeable and better skilled, you can increase your value.

The Law of Time Perspective

The most successful people in any society are those who take the longest time period into consideration when making their day-to-day decisions. Your ability to practice self-mastery, self-control, and self-denial, to sacrifice in the short term so you can enjoy greater rewards in the long term, is the starting point of developing a long time perspective.

The Law of Saving

Financial freedom comes to people who save 10 percent or more of their income throughout their lifetime. Savings today are what guarantee the security and the possibilities of tomorrow.

The Law of Conservation

It's not how much you make but how much you keep that determines your financial future. The true measure of how well you are really doing is how much you keep out of the amount that you earn.

The Law of Three

There are three legs to the stool of financial freedom: savings, insurance, and investment. One of your major responsibilities, to yourself and to the people who depend on you, is to build a financial fortress around yourself over the course of your working lifetime. To be fully protected against the unexpected, you require liquid savings equal to two to six months of normal expenses.

The Law of Investing

Investigate before you invest. This is one of the most important of all the laws of money. You should spend at least as much time studying a particular investment as you do earning the money to put into that particular investment. The only thing easy about money is losing it. If you think you can afford to lose a little, you're going to end up losing a lot. Invest only with experts who have a proven track record of success with their own money.

The Law of Magnetism

The more money you save and accumulate, the more money you attract into your life. The Law of Magnetism has been written about for more than 5,000 years. It explains much about success and failure in every area of life, especially in the financial arena. The more positive emotion you associate with your money, the more opportunities you will attract to acquire even more.

Action Exercise

Take time every day, every week, and every month to reflect on your financial situation and look for ways to deploy your finances more intelligently. The more time you take to think intelligently about your finances, the better decisions you will make and the more money you will have to think about.

Are we appreciating our life and the things around us?

Are we appreciating our life and the things around us?
Or are we taking these things for granted and not treasuring them.
Check out the article below.
Stories inspires people.

_____________________________________________________________
Subject: A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree...

Hey Fellow Success Citizen's,

There's this great story that i read. Its from this great children's book called the "Giving tree". I'm sure this story will touch your heart or maybe even make you tear when you read it.

It teaches us about the power of giving. and the best way to give my friends, is to give, give, give without expecting anything in return.

Read on and let me know what you think....

Giving Tree

Author: Shel Silverstein

A long time ago, there was a huge apple tree. A little boy loved to come and play around it everyday. He climbed to the tree top, ate the apples, took a nap under the shadow. He loved the tree and the tree loved to play with him.

Time went by. The little boy had grown up and he no longer played around the tree everyday. One day, the boy came back to the tree and he looked sad.

"Come and play with me," the tree asked the boy.

"I am no longer a kid, I don't play around trees anymore." The boy replied, "I want toys. I need money to buy them."

"Sorry, but I don't have money. But you can pick all my apples and sell them. So, you will have money." The boy was so excited.

He grabbed all the apples on the tree and left happily.

The boy never came back after he picked the apples. The tree was sad.

One day, the boy returned and the tree was so excited. "Come and play with me" the tree said.

"I don't have time to play. I have to work for family. We need a house for shelter. Can you help me?"

"Sorry, but I don't have a house. But you can chop off my branches to build your house."

So the boy cut all the branches of the tree and left happily. The tree was glad to see him happy but the boy never came back since then. The tree was again lonely and sad.

One hot summer day, the boy returned and the tree was delighted. "Come and play with me!" the tree said.

The boy said, "I am sad and getting old. I want to go sailing to relax myself. Can you give me a boat?"

"Use my truck to build your boat. You can sail far away and be happy."

So the boy cut the tree truck to make a boat. He went sailing and never showed up for a long time.

Finally, the boy returned after he left for so many years. "Sorry, my boy. But I don't have anything for you anymore. No more apples for you." the tree said.

"I don't have teeth to bite" the boy replied.

"No more truck for you to climb on"

"I am too old for that now" the boy said.

"I really can't give you anything. The only thing left is my dying roots." the tree said with tears.

"I don't need much now, just a place to rest. I am tired after all these years." the boy replied.

"Good! Old tree roots is the best place to lean on and rest. Come, come sit down with me and rest."

The boy sat down and the tree was glad and smiled with tears.

There are a number of ways we could choose to interpret this story. But its mainly about giving. We could also think of this tree as tree as our parents.

When we are young, we love to play with Mom and Dad. But as we grow up, we leave them, usually we only return to them when we need something or when we are facing some form of difficulty.

Regardless of any situation, our parents will always be there for us and give us everything they can to make us happy. In the story, it may appear that the boy is cruel to the tree but my friends, that's how many of us are treating our parents.

Be grateful and treasure everything that we have my friends.

Dani Johnson: Learn The Tips & How This Lady Rose From Homeless To Millionaire in 2 Years!

Hi Everyone,
This video is pretty good for those who wants to know the Secret to how this lady Dani Johnson who rose from homeless to a millionaire in 2 years!

"Step UP, Get Up and Do something... Do not stay the same. That is NOT where you are supposed to BE!" Dani J.

Dani Johnson, Author of the book "Spirit Driven Success".
These are some of the Millionaire Secrets that you can start off 2010 with:

1. Prepare for a marathon, not a sprint!
2. Weigh your ego with your bank account!
3. Prosper where your planted!
4. The marketplace pays for value!
5. Create results!

1. Prepare For A Marathon, Not A Sprint!
(Have a good plan and balance your life)

I love her drive and passion to succeed. It kinda resembles me. Oops but I really hope I don't get a heart attack at age 24 and nervous breakdown at age 25. That's because she went for a Sprint! Go for the Marathon, if not you be burnt out like her.
She needs to manage and find balance having a husband, 5 kids and 5 companies.

2. Weigh Your Ego With Your Bank Account!
(Learn from Successful People Ask Them How they Do It)

Some people have huge ego and tiny bank accounts.
Truth is if you know someone successful, ask them to show you how they did it and learn from their successes. Study those people or their businesses or even their marriage, learn from their successes.
You better find out what are their secrets to have a successful marriage or what it takes to build a successful company! Study those people, ask them, "Please tell me, show me what I can do to change my life!"

People like giving advice! Ask them, "What's the Secret?"

3. Prosper Where You're Planted!
(Use whatever money you have WISELY.)

This is a Law, like the Law of Gravity, where if you jump out of a tall storey building, "Splat!" You're done. It's the same as the Law of Motion. It is in motion whether you know it or not, the Law works like this...
If you are trusted over small things, then you'll be made ruler over much. So if you work over the spirit of excellence over the small company that you have, say whether you have 5 or 10 employees, so if you work at pullling the best out in those people, then that company will soon begin to grow. Same with the market place, it is very true about this, same with money. Say if you are entrusted with $50,000 a year or a month, if you can be trusted with that, you use the money wisely, then I promise you that the money will continue to grow!

4. The Marketplace Pays For Value!
(Build great relationships with your clients and public - It's The People Business!)
It's one size fits all for success and I truly believe it! Is because the truth is, people are not loyal to products. Theyare loyal to People! It's the person that has the ability to pull out the best in others, and the ability to make great relationships with their clients as well as with the public, are the ones that can make it in any recession, and are truly the ones that are recession-proof! You'll be the No.1 recommended person with whatever that you do, based on how you deal with people. It's the People Business!

5. Create Results!
(Who can you help, and what are the Results your customers/clients can get when they use whatever the products or services that you offer?)

Dani came from homeless to a millionaire in 2 years. She has trained many people from the same exact thing that it is about creating results.

Here's Why, "When I first started out, it wasn't how much money I can make faster and living out of my car. It was about Who can I create success and results for, NOW! and I did so. And it is truly the biggest part of the marketing plan from Day1. Who can we help to succeed? Who can we help get results with whatever products or services that it is that we offer? And we done so just like with Carmen, who has taken the same exact principle, as well as with the other principles that I just shared, who literally went from totally having a business of $750,000 a year, She's 25 years old, to going out and developing a business of $3.7 million inside of 18 months."

Study The Power Of LEVERAGE

Studying and practicing the principles of effective delegation have given you the foundation necessary to exploit the power of leverage. We will now examine other forms of this key tool of professional and business success. Each of the seven forms of leverage can help you expand the reach of your own talents and strengths. Each involves building on the work, talents, experiences, and contacts of other people.

Leveraging Other People's Energy

The most productive people make sure they have time for the few things that give them the highest payoff by routinely seeking to delegate or outsource their lower-value activities.

Leveraging Other People's Knowledge

Applying one simple piece of key knowledge to your situation can make a world of difference in the result you achieve. Finding and applying knowledge from another source can spare you tremendous amounts of money and labor. Follow the lead of successful people and scan books, magazines, tapes, articles, and conferences for ideas and insights you can use to help you achieve your goals faster.

Leveraging Other People's Money

Knowing how and when to take advantage of other people's money—by borrowing or otherwise tapping into other people's financial resources—empowers you to achieve things that would be beyond your reach if you relied solely on your own resources. Seek out opportunities to borrow and invest, achieving returns in excess of the cost of the borrowed funds. Among the many sources for funds, consider, for example, chartered banks, savings and loan associations, venture capitalists, and public and private offerings of securities.

Leveraging Other People's Successes

Study the successes that other people and companies have achieved to gain insights into their challenges and solutions. Most successful people have paid their dues in terms of money, energy, commitment, and even failure to arrive at the top of their fields. Learn from their experiences.

Leveraging Other People's Failures

As Benjamin Franklin said, "Man can either buy his wisdom or borrow it. By buying it, he pays full price in personal time and treasure. By borrowing it, he capitalizes on the lessons learned from the failures of others." Listen carefully to the stories of truly successful people. Those who genuinely wish to support you will share with you their failures as well as their successes.

Leveraging Other People's Ideas

A single good idea, developed with passion and commitment, can give birth to a fortune. The greater your exposure to a range of ideas—gained through reading, studying, interaction, and experimentation— the greater the chance you will come across one that will lead you to enduring success.

Leveraging Other People's Contacts of Other People's Credibility

Everyone you know has friends, acquaintances, and professional contacts. Many of these people can make a positive impact on your career or business. Among all the people you know or are connected to in some way, who might open doors for you?

Action Exercise

How will you leverage your talents, skills, and actions by leveraging the energy of others?

The Power of Goals By Tony Robbins

This is another great video on setting your goals and achieving it.
Check it out! And make it happen!

The Secret To Absolute Certainty by Tony Robbins

Hey Friends,
After having seen a number of Tony Robbins videos.
I just felt that this is one of the really good videos that teach and motivate you to achieve your goals.
Tony Robbins tell you what you can do to make your goal a certainty.
Enjoy the video!

Tony Robbins spoke about his golf lessons.
Where he did very well on the first day, then on the next day he couldn't play as well.
Then Tony blamed the golf instructor that he was a "terrible" instructor.
So Tony asked the instructor what he could do to improve, so the instructor mentioned that Tony was only a little bit off.
The instructor said, "You were only about a millimeter (mm) or two off."
Instructor said, "When you change the angle that you are attacking, it is just one or two millimeters. Do you see how it changes the arc?"
This one instead of being in the Green by 1millimeter, you are in the water, the next moment you are in the sand.
Also you are hitting the ground by 1millimeter, you are not stroking it, just by 1mm.

What a great belief system, that when all hell is breaking loose, you are only 1 millimeter off.
Cause' most people think that it is impossible and that is why they give up.
Isn't that true?

Tony was also supposed see one of his clients 2days later that is a top plastic surgeons in the world, who is going through some tough time in his life.
He can make people who are 80years old look like 40years old.

While he was waiting for him after his operation, he took up a book that was written by the surgeon to teach other surgeons. He has mathematically calculated what it takes to make someone look gorgeous.
For example the distance between the top part of your lip and your nose, the measurement of that if you are beautiful and gorgeous it is the same size as your eye. If it is a millimeter more, you have an average face. If it is 2 millimeter more, you are butt ugly.
So the difference between beautiful and butt ugly is 2 millimeters.

So a very powerful belief to leave today is that if nothing's working, you are just a millimeter away. When you make a little shift everyday, you will be in a totally different destination and direction.

The difference between Certain and Uncertain is just a tiny difference in your chest.
Could you condition yourself into a Peak state? YES!

Use your body and change your focus. Can you train yourself to believe in something? Yes!

In Disneyland, after you went to It's A Small World After All. After a week, the song is still in your head.
Tony uses Incantations. If you have a voice in your head that say "Oh I can't do it", it breaks your good pattern. So train a new one, Tony use Incantations not affirmations.
It's not just saying "I'm Happy, I'm Happy, I'm Happy."

It's about changing your physiology. Incantations is not only you seek it. but you embody it with all the intensity that you can. And you do it with enough repetitions that you stick it in your head. So you use your body and your voice.

Tony command the state and that he was able to influence people who are far more successful than he is at that time. Tony still does it backstage for the past 23years and still doing it now.
Tony don't hope to be in a good state. He demand it!

In a room, when two people meet and if there's rapport, and the person who is MOST CERTAIN will always influence the other person.

Successful people do, what failures won't.

"When it seems impossible, when it seems like nothing is going to work, you're usually just a few millimeters away from making it happen." ~ Anthony Robbins

Racing Against Time - Stress VS Motivation

Racing Against Time

Does racing against time give you more motivation or give you more stress?
Does the racing spirit mean getting ahead in the competition, and always wanting to be the best? Does pressure make you perform better?

An idea that you set, and a goal so high and set the expectation so high, then you work as hard as you can and win that.

Being Focused and tune out the noise. And think what is it that you really want to see.

The only way to get you recognised is to race in a competition.
When you are in a competition, you make it happen. You kinda force it. Sometimes you get hurt, but that's the best way to get hurt.

Clarity has the potential to change the world. ~ Honda

A race is an opportunity to provide something new, to provide new solutions.

When you are under pressure, it forces you to give your best answer.

"Stone Age did not end because people ran out of stones. And it be great if we
can end Oil Age not because we run out of oil, because we find something better."

Enjoy the Video!

Don't Hope...Decide (Inspirational story on Marriage, Family, Love)

Hey fellow friends,
Below is a story that I received from a friend few days ago.
I find it meaningful for those who have families, so I thought I just post it her to inspire more people.

Enjoy!
____________________________________________________________________
This story was from a guy who told about his amazing story that he experienced one day.

I had one of those life-changing experiences that you hear other people talk about -the kind that sneaks up on you unexpectedly. This one occurred a mere two feet away from me. Straining to locate my friend among the passengers deplaning through the jetway, I noticed a man coming toward me carrying two light bags.

He stopped right next to me to greet his family. First he motioned to his youngest son (maybe six years old) as he laid down his bags. They gave each other a long, loving hug. As they separated enough to look in each other's face, I heard the father say, "It's so good to see you, son. I missed you so much!" His son smiled somewhat shyly, averted his eyes and replied softly, "Me, too, Dad!"

Then the man stood up, gazed in the eyes of his oldest son (maybe nine or ten) and while cupping his son's face in his hands said, "You're already quite the young man. I love you very much, Zach!" They too hugged a most loving, tender hug.

While this was happening, a baby girl (perhaps one or one-and-a-half) was squirming excitedly in her mother's arms, never once taking her little eyes off the wonderful sight of her returning father.

The man said, "Hi, baby girl!" as he gently took the child from her mother. He quickly kissed her face all over and then held her close to his chest while rocking her from side to side. The little girl instantly relaxed and simply laid her head on his shoulder, motionless in pure contentment.

After several moments, he handed his daughter to his oldest son and declared, "I've saved the best for last!" and proceeded to give his wife the longest, most passionate kiss I ever remember seeing.

He gazed into her eyes for several seconds and then silently mouthed. "I love you so much!" They stared at each other's eyes, beaming big smiles at one another, while holding both hands. For an instant they reminded me of newlyweds, but I knew by the age of their kids that they couldn't possibly be.

I puzzled about it for a moment then realized how totally engrossed I was in the wonderful display of unconditional love not more than an arm's length away from me.

I suddenly felt uncomfortable, as if I was invading something sacred, but was amazed to hear my own voice nervously ask, "Wow! How long have you two been married?" "Been together fourteen years total, married twelve of those." he replied, without breaking his gaze from his lovely wife's face. "Well then, how long have you been away?" I asked the man finally turned and looked at me, still beaming his joyous smile."Two whole days!"

Two days? I was stunned. By the intensity of the greeting, I had assumed he'd been gone for at least several weeks - if not months. I know my expression betrayed me, I said almost offhandedly, hoping to end my intrusion with some semblance of grace (and to get back to searching for my friend), "I hope my marriage is still that passionate after twelve years!"

The man suddenly stopped smiling. He looked me straight in the eye, and with forcefulness that burned right into my soul, he told me something that left me a different person. He told me, "Don't hope, friend... decide!" Then he flashed me his wonderful smile again, shook my hand and said, "God bless!" With that, he and his family turned and strode away together.

I was still watching that exceptional man and his special family walk just out of sight when my friend came up to me and asked, "What'cha looking at?" Without hesitating, and with a curious sense of certainty, I replied, "My future!"

Don't hope my friends, Decide !! Decide how you want your life to be and just take action and live it !

How are you? Hope all is well.

3 years ago when I first invited T Harv Eker to Singapore/Malaysia, he told me that he will give 3 years of his time in Asia. Afterwhich, he’d like to speak less and do less. I can relate to this because I am already 53 and I too, want to do less.

Time really flies. Now, 3 years' time frame is already up.

Harv Eker is already doing much lesser now and will be harder to have him speak "LIVE" in Asia.

If you want to see Harv Eker “LIVE”, come and re-attend the Millionaire Mind Intensive Singapore, from 13th - 15th November 2009. Do bring a friend and both of you can come for F.R.E.E!

Enlightenment from Mother Teresa

I received this useful info from a friend, so I guess that it would be good to post some of these useful stuff so I hope it would benefit people and help others gain greater wisdom.

Have you ever wondered why some people have such an amazing energy that when they walk into a room causing the entire dynamics of the room to change.

This is True for So many great people, and spiritual masters, and mother Teresa was a great example.

There is this great quote by Mother Teresa, it will tell you everything about her style of thinking.

"People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway.
If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway.
If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway.
What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway.
If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway.
The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may just never be enough;
Give the world the best you have anyway.

You see, in the final analysis, it's all between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway."

- Mother Teresa
